Reporting to the Director of Financial Aid, the Financial Aid, the Financial Aid Assistant will provide excellent customer service to students, parents and the college community. The ideal candidate will possess: Strong customer service skills Attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Excellent written and oral communication Ability to work independently as well as with a team Ability to multitask Excellent prioritization and time management skills Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word Desired qualifications: A working knowledge of the FAFSA application A working knowledge of processing federal aid such as Pell Grant, FSEOG, federal loans, etc. Familiarity of State programs such as HOPE, Zell, GTEG and dual enrollment Knowledge of federal and state laws, rules and regulations Applicants who would enrich the diversity of the campus community are strongly encouraged to apply.
