This year, the third Sunday is July 16, and we’ve got the freebies, discounts and BOGO ice cream deals offered by your favorite ice cream brands and restaurants, all rounded up and ready to provide you with the perfect summer indulgence.

1. Alden’s Organic

Available at over 10,000 stores nationwide, including Whole Foods and Kroger, Oregon-made Alden’s Organic is offering $1 off any one of its delicious ice cream and dairy-free frozen treats. Use this printable coupon before it expires on Aug. 4.

2. Baskin Robbins

Technically, the entire month of July is National Ice Cream Month and Baskin-Robbins is doing it up properly by launching a brand-new sundae funday ice cream flavor. It’s made with the classic combo of vanilla and chocolate ice creams, rich fudge swirls, crunchy chocolate-dipped waffle cone pieces, and lots of rainbow sprinkles. Enjoy this new delectable flavor for the whole month of July. Plus, you can get a FREE regular scoop of ice cream when you download the Baskin Robbins app.

3. Blue Bell

Using the occasion of National Ice Cream Month, Blue Bell is launching a new flavor sure to become a fan favorite. Those of us who can’t get enough of refreshing Dr. Pepper are going to go wild for Blue Bell’s Dr. Pepper float ice cream — a blend of vanilla ice cream swirled with a Dr. Pepper flavor. This will be available only in select locations, in pint and half-gallon sizes. Not a fan of soda? Well, then give the creamery’s new Java Jolt ice cream a try. The delicious frozen treat is made with coffee ice cream, dark chocolate flavored chunks and a coffee fudge swirl.

4. Carvel

In yet another delicious mashup, Carvel is launching a new, limited-time lineup of salted caramel cold brew treats. The new flavor is a blend of bold cold brew coffee combined with sweet caramel. In honor of National Ice Cream Day last year, Carvel offered fans BOGO small cup or cone of Brookie soft serve (or any other Carvel soft serve flavor), and we expect the creamery to reward its customers with a similar deal this year.

5. Cold Stone Creamery

When you sign up for Cold Stone Creamery Rewards Club, you can get a BOGO FREE creation loaded to your account. Plus, you’ll receive 25 points.

6. Dairy Queen

One day only — July 16 — enjoy $1 off any size dipped cone (excluding kid cones) at Dairy Queen with the DQ mobile app. This includes chocolate-dipped cones.

7. Dippin’ Dots

Dippin’ Dots is doing it big for National Ice Cream Day. On July 16, customers can make a pitstop at one of the participating locations to receive a free mini cup of Dippin’ Dots, while supplies last. The special event will only be available during the company’s two-hour window, so be sure to check with your local store to see when the giveaway will take place.

8. DoorDash

From July 13 through July 19, customers can get $5 off when you buy two or more qualifying ice cream items (exclusions apply). It’s super easy. Just open your DoorDash app or go on the website, select DashMart or your local convenience store and add your favorite ice cream item to your cart.

9. Friendly’s Restaurant

In honor of National Ice Cream Day, sign up for Friendly’s Sweet Rewards Club and get a FREE medium sundae. Once you are a Sweet Rewards Club member, get a FREE sundae on your birthday and then after you buy five medium or large sundaes, get the next one for FREE.

10. Fosters Freeze

Last year, Fosters Freeze celebrated National Ice Cream Day by offering $2 small cones all day and we expect to see a similar offer up for grabs on July 16, 2023.
