This is by far one of the best places I've dined in DFW. The best way I can describe it is like a seafood, cajun, Tex-max fusion and the flavors mesh so well. The service was amazing, I can say that everyone was friendly.

This is a family friendly restaurant, the ambiance gives just that. It was nice and clean with plenty of seating inside and on their patio. The bathroom was also maintained properly.

The seafood was fresh which is a huge plus. Again, the flavors mesh so well here, everything was full of flavor! I enjoyed the table side shrimp cocktail and being able to customize the flavors to my liking. The soup flight was soooo good, especially the gumbo (I am from Louisiana). I would honestly recommend any items on their dinner menu especially the bread pudding.

They had a few margarita and cocktail options. Some were sweet and some were strong. The margarita flight def stole the show for me, I got to taste all of their current margarita options. If you're going for the drinks alone, please Uber or lyft LOL

The happy hour menu..... insane but in a good way. HH is Mon thru Fri 12 PM - 7 PM and all day on Sat + Sun. You cannot beat that. It comes with a few appetizers and drinks for under $10.

Anayas seafood is honestly a 10/10 and I'm so glad they've expanded across DFW. They have 4 locations as I was told and they are family owned. If you're considering going here, just go. You won't be disappointed

      Can't wait to return!
What a hidden gem (in plain sight) to add to our list of favorites!!

From the moment you walk in the door, you feel their charm! This is such a wonderful seafood restaurant with loads of selections on its menu! Don't forget the specials board on the wall--it apparently changes every couple of days, so you don't want to miss it!

Our server was Leo. A nice young man that introduced us to the specials and answered any questions we had about the menu, he was very knowledgeable, and we appreciated his enthusiasm and love of the restaurant.

The menu is jampacked full of so many options that it's really hard to choose...

Since it was our first visit, the owner, Miguel, brought us a little sample of their soups, and they were wonderfully delicious! We can't wait to order soup next time!

We ordered the mahi-mahi tacos; they were incredible--even the picture reflects freshness! They were flavorful and satisfying!
We also had the coconut shrimp, the best I have found in years! We have enjoyed incredible coconut shrimp in Hawaii and St. Kitts (West Indies), and this is right there with the best of them!

Ohhhhh, the dessert--what to choose? We went with Keylime pie, which was incredible, creamy, and fresh, and the portion was huge! We also had the peach cobbler à la mode, which was also fresh and flavorful and left us wanting more (but there was plenty!).

Looking for your next favorite seafood place? #ThisisIt
They have several locations, so no matter where you're located, it's definitely Worth the drive!

Thank you so much to the ANAYAS restaurant team!! we will be back and will bring our friends!

      Thank you!

      1 check-in

We went here for the first time, and overall the experience was good but the food was just above average, not amazing.

We ordered the crab cake appetizer and a cup of gumbo, and I will tell you this crab cake was really good!! They did such a great job, super generous on crab, and the aioli and salad they give on the side are great for flavor contrast. The gumbo was alright, there was a lot of shrimp but nothing special. Highly recommend the crab cake though!

For entrees, we got the Ruby Red Trout and Fried catfish. The trout comes on cornbread with spinach, Cajun sauce, and a bit of shrimp, scallops, and crawfish in the sauce. The fish itself is definitely red trout and was cooked well, crunchy on the outside while the meat was tender and fresh. The cornbread was also really good, I liked it a lot more than I thought! The only weird part was the shrimp and crawfish in the sauce, they were a bit cold while everything else on the plate was hot. I also didn't feel this was truly blackened trout, more just trout that was cooked well but not necessarily the Cajun blackened flavor I was looking for.

The fried catfish was crunchy but lacked some seasoning in my opinion, and the catfish tasted very catfish(y?) like almost gamey, which is normal for catfish but if prepared well, you don't taste it. The hush puppies were great, but we weren't a big fan of this entree overall. Portions were huge however!

The interior is nice and clean, and service is also great and fast! For Cajun style seafood, this place is not bad, but I would mostly recommend the crab cake appetizer and their hush puppies. The price is a little high, and I would say the smokiness and strong Cajun flavor was a little lacking.

After Fishmongers closed, I am still looking for a good go to Cajun place, and have tried other options but none were quite the same. This place is overall still good, above average, but nothing too stand out to me.

This place has the best, fresh tasting food I have had in a long time. I had the jalapeño mahi tacos and they were decent but my wife had the seafood trio and I have to say, IT WAS SEASONED PERFECTLY and was very good!!!! We also had the margarita flight and every single margarita was great!!! Oh and my wife loved the bread pudding....

The service was great!! I like the atmosphere!!!

We will be visiting the place often!!!

My wife & I visited Anaya's in Richardson the first weekend they were opened and were cheerfully greeted by General Manager Miguel. We enjoy the BEST SEAFOOD we had ever eaten in DFW. We have returned many times over the years because of the varied menu everytime we walk in. Brother Bobby joined in as Lead Cook & then Kitchen Manager followed by brother Alfredo as bartender. The atmosphere is outstanding - like you walked into a seafood market. Both brothers now have been instrumental in expanding the business with Anaya's Restaurants in Addision, Plano, & Frisco. We have followed them to all of their other restaurants and the outstanding quality of food and service exists in all of their restaurants just like Richardson. We stopped in this last Sunday for dinner and there was Miguel, still on top of things like he ALWAYS is, but NEVER too busy to come and sit down with long time customers such as we are and just "shoot the bull" and tell us all about his family, how his kids are doing, and what is next in his and his brothers adventures.
So if you are in Richardson, Addison, Plano, or Frisco - DON'T MISS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF ANAYA'S SEAFOOD SCRATCH KITCHEN - BEST SEAFOOD YOU WILL EVER EXPERIENCE !!!

Food was so good! Started with the soup, our server gave us a sample of all 3 (gumbo, poblano, clam chowder) and all were delicious. For our entrees we ordered the specials of the day which were Mahi Mahi with a cream sauce and then the cod with a caper butter sauce. I will come back to try other entrees on the menu and prices are great for seafood restaurant.

This is the original location of Anaya's Seafood joint.
With plenty of crawfish, oysters and ceviche specials, southern seafood is at its best.

We were a party of 15 and glad they were able to accommodate us.

Our server was Jason (I think).
He was really nice, funny and attentive.

I tried a few different dishes. I loved the calamari. See photos. We also ordered a bottle of wine.

Overall, the food was ok. I'm just happy they were able to accommodate us.
