Vaccine Information

All students are required to be up to date on their vaccines, including the COVID-19 vaccine and booster; all employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as well.  The state’s website provides information on where to get the vaccine and boosters, including numerous pharmacies, community health centers, and health care providers in the area p; search by zip code for vaccination locations.

COVID-19 Vaccine Requirements

Vaccination provides the best protection against severe illness from COVID-19 and provides the best chance for our community to participate in the daily activities that are so critical to college life.

Students

  • All undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in on-campus classes and/or conducting research in on-campus labs, whether they live on campus or off, are required to be up to date on their COVID-19 vaccination, including boosters.

  • As with our other vaccination requirements, there is a process for students to submit a request for medical or religious exemption via the Student Vaccination Exemption form
  • WPI will give support and guidance to our international students who may have difficulty accessing vaccines approved by the World Health Organization.

Employees

All WPI employees, including faculty and staff who are classified as fully remote and new hires, are also required to be up to date on their COVID-19 vaccination, including boosters.
