BUENA VISTA, Va. (WFXR) – Officers with the Buena Vista Police Department say they are investigating rumors of threats being made against students at Parry McCluer High School.

The police department says there are no credible threats to any schools with the Buena Vista City School District.

They say that all statements of a threatening nature are not taken lightly and will be investigated thoroughly to ensure the safety of all students and citizens of the city.
