Host a Food Drive Organize your family, friends or community group to help you collect and donate food on a larger scale. A food drive is an easy way to collect non-perishable food items for Utah Food Bank to distribute to those most in need. We encourage all those with an interest in helping hungry children and families to start a food drive. Any individual or group—be it a school, business, community group or church—can create a successful food drive! Please note: by providing your own collection receptacles and transportation, you significantly increase the impact of your donation.

Setting one up takes just a few minutes, and you'll get a customized fundraising page you can share with your friends, family and coworkers. We offer toolkits to help you along the way, and all donations are processed through us!
Last year, Utah Food Bank distributed 60.2 million pounds of food (that’s 50.1 million meals) via our statewide network of 245 partner agencies, all free of charge. With 10% of Utah’s population, or 317,000 individuals, unsure where their next meal will come from, we have our work cut out for us! Together, we can fight hunger statewide.

Monday – Thursday: 5 pm – 7:30 pm (Volunteer Entrance – west side of building)
Saturday: 9 am – 1:00 pm (Volunteer Entrance – west side of building)
