The Clean Heat Forum will be launched under the umbrella of the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC) on the occasion of an event organized by the GlobalABC, RMI, UK BEIS and Scotland DECC.

The event will be moderated by RMI and opened with key note speeches from UK’s BEIS Minister and the Scottish Minister for Zero Carbon Buildings. A panel discussion moderated by RMI will show how some countries, regions, cities, industries and organizations are already engaging on this agenda, underlining the need for joining forces and deeper collaboration to accelerate a global shift towards heating decarbonization for achieving the Paris Agreement.

The Clean Heat Forum is an initiative initiated by UK under the GlobalABC to accelerate heating decarbonization in buildings. It will seek to identify points of mutual benefit between countries and create synergies through shared initiatives with a view to accelerate policy transformation for heating decarbonization in buildings. It is open to countries, regions, cities, companies and organizations active in this space and keen to promote a shift toward decarbonizing heating.
