WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) — The man accused of aiding in the murder of a Warrick County woman will likely get his day in court very soon.
Brian Baumgartner asked a Warrick County Judge for a speedy trial.
The judge granted the motion and scheduled a trial for July 30, 2019.
Baumgartner is accused of helping Anthony Wolfe, Jr. kill Valarie Ruark.
Ruark’s burnt body was found near a stripper pit outside of Elberfeld about a month ago.
Police say Wolfe killed Ruark and Baumgartner helped him because they thought Ruark was a police informant.
Wolfe is due in court later this month.
