London Underground & DLR

NOTE: Plan your trip early as Network Rail has reported disruption to services between Friday 7th April and Monday 10th April 2023. Visit the Check Before You Travel website and use the Journey Planner to see if your trip to Star Wars Celebration will be disrupted and to find alternative routes. The most important update is that trains will be running later and on a holiday schedule. There will be no trains running earlier than 8:00 BST and the Jubilee Line will have no service on Good Friday, 7th April until 14:00 BST (2:00 PM).

The Elizabeth Line, Jubilee Line and the DLR are typically the quickest routes to ExCeL, but please check the holiday schedule while planning your trip and expect delays for the Easter Bank Holiday. Alight at Custom House station on the Elizabeth Line, at Canning Town on the Jubilee Line, and change onto a Beckton-bound DLR train for the quick two-stop journey to ExCeL: Custom House.

If you’re heading to ExCeL via DLR, get off at Custom House station and follow our signage. If in doubt, ask a member of staff or a crew member to help you.

For access to Star Wars Celebration as a pedestrian from hotels on the east side, we recommend using the DLR for just one stop – boarding at Prince Regent Station to alight at Custom House. The Prince Regent East entrance to ExCeL will be closed for the duration of Star Wars Celebration. Please take the DLR and alight at Custom House.

All fans will enter the event via the North West Entry Gate near Custom House station. The West Entrance is closed to all fans except those with accessibility needs. Do not attempt to enter at the West Entrance as you will be re-routed to the North West Entry Gate.

What is the DLR?

The Docklands Light Railway (known as the DLR) is part of the London Underground network and Custom House is less than a two minute walk to the entrance of ExCeL. Trains towards Beckton/Gallions Reach stop at Custom House.

There is also a third station, Royal Victoria, which is a ten minute walk from the west end of the venue for those looking to avoid congestion.

Here are some additional resources for finding your way to the ExCeL Centre for Star Wars Celebration:

Driving

If you’re arriving via the M11, the North Circular (A406) or the A13, as you get closer to ExCeL you’ll pick up signs for Royal Docks, City Airport and ExCeL London.

If you’re using satellite navigation please enter the postcodes E16 1XL if you are traveling from the west to ExCeL from Blackwall Tunnel, Limehouse Link, A12 or central London – or E16 1FR if you are traveling from the east to ExCeL from the M11, A13 or into London from the east.

If you choose to park at ExCeL, you will exit the parking park via dockside south and must continue past the West entrance to the North West Entry Gate. Please remember fans will not be allowed to enter at the West entrance. Follow directional signage to the Custom House walkway or ask a staff member for help.

Disabled Parking Bays

There are 155 bays suitable for disabled drivers on-site across ExCeL's car parks. These are wide bays with minimum dimensions of 5.9m by 3.6m. Access to the building from these bays is along walkways with a gradient of no more than 1:15 and via flat entrance lifts with automatic doors.

All public entrances allow for access by wheelchair via low gradient ramps and an automatic door. Once inside the venue, all floors are level, offering unobstructed access.

Please note: Star Wars Celebration Europe does not control pricing or availability for ExCeL parking.
