Principal's Message
Dolvin Families –
We had a great Ice Cream Social last week! Thank you to our Dolvin PTA for organizing such a successful event. As a reminder, our Book Fair ends tomorrow. Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Berkovich have been VERY busy keeping the shelves stocked with book choices for our students. Thank you also to the parents who have volunteered their time to help out with the Book Fair.
Your proud principal,
Karen

Ready For School
Please send your child to school with everything they need to have a successful day! Lunches, water bottles, homework, snacks, devices, etc., should arrive with your student in the morning to avoid interruption of instructional time. If a child arrives in the cafeteria without a lunch, they will be allowed to purchase one. Thank you and we appreciate your understanding.

Become a VIP (Very Incentivized Person!)
We’re halfway through our Direct Giving campaign - and halfway to our goal! But in order to supply Spirit Shirts in time for those first Field Trips, we want to entice everyone to give now. But why give to the Foundation?
First, the Foundation supports several key programs and resources each school year – and this year, our signature project is to install durable playground markings. They’re a fun, vibrant way to engage students mentally and physically during outdoor time, while reinforcing key academic concepts.
Second – we’ve added some great new incentives this year, including:
· Lunch with a Teacher in the Outdoor Classroom – Students get to choose a teacher or staff member to join them for a special lunch al fresco, provided by the Foundation - surrounded by nature’s beauty in the new Outdoor Classroom!
· Discovery Lab Family Night (late November) – Enjoy a fun and educational class for the whole family with Ms. Razzolini! Parents - come see what goes on in Discovery Lab and experience hands-on science activities including chemical and physical reactions, making a cloud appear in a bottle, and more student favorites. Do not miss out!
· Two (2) Event Parking Spaces – Families can earn TWO reserved Visitor parking spaces by the main entrance for events like the Chorus Performance, Sneak Peek, Curriculum Night, and more through September 2023! PLUS we’re including a new BONUS incentive for our Dynamite Dolphins - TWO (2) Reserved Front Row Seats to the Chorus Performance! So eliminate the stress and rush – get the VIP treatment so you can relax and enjoy each event to the fullest!
Plus there is everyone’s favorite Foundation event, the Ice Cream Party with Ms. Cooke, happening the first week of November! All donations must be received by Friday, October 28, to take advantage of these amazing rewards.
Last but not least – all donations are tax-deductible, and you can maximize your impact (and incentives) by requesting a Corporate Match donation from your employer.
Every donation helps Support the Foundation for Success for Dolvin students. Thank you for being #DolvINcredible!
