Northwest Linguistics Conference NWLC 38, May 27–28, 2022

The Department of Linguistics at Simon Fraser University is pleased to host the 38th annual Northwest Linguistics Conference. We invite authors to submit abstracts for NWLC 2022. The conference is planned to take place virtually over Zoom from May 27th – May 28th, 2022.

Conference schedule and registration now available

All confirmed papers are in and we now have a conference schedule for you to view! Get the schedule at this link or find it at the bottom of this page.

Here's the registration page. Registering for the conference is totally free, and this contact information is how we'll get the Zoom link to you. Please register as soon as possible—including if you are presenting—so we can be as prepared as possible.

We currently have 20 accepted presentations! The conference is now planned to take place May 27th–May 28th. A schedule will be available here soon!
