About your presenters:

Kate Strauss is an experienced counselor and advocate, with a practice equally dedicated to advising clients on corporate and transaction matters, and litigation on behalf of her clients. Kate’s litigation cases address issues such as construction defect, mechanic’s lien foreclosures, delays and scheduling impact claims, and other contract entitlement questions. Her clients include general contractors, design professionals, subcontractors and specialty trades, and material suppliers.

Adam Farnham is the Technical Lead of Envista’s Fire Protection Engineering group. With over 25 years of experience performing forensic consulting investigations, a master’s degree, and holding multi-state licensing in Fire Protection Engineering, Mr. Farnham specializes in damage assessments and failure analyses of complex fire protection systems. His skillset includes not only water-based systems, but all active (requiring energy to operate), passive (e.g. structural) and special protection systems (e.g. UL300, Halon, Carbon Dioxide, Halon Replacement, etc.), in addition to associated detection, HVAC and alarm systems.

    John Pritchard is the National Technical Manager for Lubrizol’s Blazemaster and Freezemaster fire protection products. 35 + years’ experience on the contracting side of the Piping Industry.  Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Western Illinois University. Member of the Western Illinois University Engineering Technology Advisory Council. Has worked as an instructor for the Residential Construction Employers Council (RCEC) Construction Management Certification Program (CMCP).

    Jeff Ramey has over 35 years’ experience in the  plumbing and fire sprinkler industries and has worked closely with engineers, designers, distributors, code officials, and contractors to provide technical product training on water, gas and fire sprinkler piping systems.  He is an active member of major plumbing, engineering and fire sprinkler associations, including AFSA, ASPE, NFSA and ASHRAE Technical Committee 3.6, Water Treatment, TC 8.6, Cooling Towers as well as SPCC 188, Legionellosis: Risk Management for Building Water Systems.

    George Rudolph is the National Sales Manager for Noble Company (Spring Lake, MI), a subsidiary of FPC International, since 2009.  A 30-year seasoned veteran of the plumbing, heating, and fire sprinkler industries , George has held various sales and sales/operations management positions with leading manufacturing companies.  He is a member of AFSA, NFSA, NFPA, NKBA, ASPE, and AIM/R.  An Ohio native, George resides in Grand Rapids, MI with his wife and three children.
