Example Workflow

  1. Customer (an oil & gas producer who also operates a network of gathering pipelines spread across 1,600 square miles) tasks Satelytics to monitor its entire asset fleet weekly for pipeline leaks, physical encroachments in the right-of-way, land movement, and vegetation restoration progress.
  2. Customer pulls essential alert information via APIs provided by Satelytics into workflow management software (SAP, Maximo, or the like).
  3. A work order is automatically generated, deploying a field team.
  4. Field teams visit alert sites and use the Satelytics for the Nonconnected World app on their smartphone to direct them to the exact location.
  5. Based on what they observe on the ground, the field team makes notes and records any helpful photographs using the app.
  6. Once back in communications coverage, the app automatically uploads all field-recorded information. The alert is either resolved or marked for further action.

Alerts generally arrive at a predictable time, facilitating a relatively easy adjustment to the company's normal workflow process.
