Get hands-on experience working with all types of late-model commercial vehicles, their systems, and related components.

Electric Power Generation Technology: Diesel Emphasis (A.A.S.)

Learn the technical skills to evaluate, test, and troubleshoot power generators.

Heavy Construction Equipment Technology: Caterpillar Equipment Emphasis (A.A.S.)

Thanks to our partnership with Caterpillar, you'll learn how to repair and maintain the latest brand-name equipment. 

Heavy Construction Equipment Technology: Technician Emphasis (A.A.S.)

Training in our extensive 48,000-square foot lab space, you'll hone the technical skills to maintain, service, and repair industry workhorses. 

Diesel Truck Maintenance Technician Certificate

This fully-loaded program pulls together the diverse skillset needed to launch a career as an entry-level technician in diesel truck preventative maintenance.

Bachelor Degree Pathway

Combine technical know-how with the leadership and administrative expertise needed to rise to a management position with an Automotive Technology Management degree.

Minors & Immersions

Pair a minor with any bachelor's degree, or an immersion with any bachelor's or associate's degree.

Site prep ramps up for Baja SAE Williamsport

Preparations for Baja SAE Williamsport are ramping up at Penn College’s Heavy Construction Equipment Operations Site in Brady Township. Last week, excavators, bulldozers, haul trucks and rollers dominated the landscape. The competition is scheduled for May 16-19, with 100 collegiate teams from 31 states, the District of Columbia, Brazil and Canada.

Longtime partner’s generosity expands student opportunities

Anderson Equipment Co.’s 24-week loan of a Komatsu PC 290LC-11 to Pennsylvania College of Technology will be greatly advantageous to students in 10 diesel and heavy construction equipment courses – from powertrain and hydraulics to brakes and electronics. A Corporate Tomorrow Maker that has supported Penn College students for about 25 years, the company is providing the excavator through an ongoing entrustment agreement that enhances instruction at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center.
