Thank you for Supporting the first Afro-Indigenous and all black owned Retreat/Education center and permaculture farm in sonoma county

We are happy to announce that with community support EARTHseed has completed the purchase of Gabriel Farm, the 14-acre, organic, solar-powered orchard, with a 75-year history. We were able to raise over 2.7 million dollars to close escrow on March 30th, 2021.

We had our first successful season and look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful farm!

The Dream Realized

Envision a place where thousands of adults and youth annually reclaim their relationship to the Earth, their history and their future through learning about AfroIndigenous Permaculture. Black-led and operated, the EARTHseed Permaculture Center and Farm serves as a working farm and retreat/educational center to allow respite and earth centered relaxation for our beloved Black Community while also reconnecting communities to Afro-Indigenous principles and practices for living in our world today.
We moved onto our new home April 1st and during our first year will be focused on stewarding our organic orchard farm. In the next 2-5 years we plan to launch the education center. Our future goals are to be run collectively by practitioners of Afro-Indigenous permaculture principles while building on the long legacy of Earth wisdom traditions of peoples of African Descent. Our farm will enable everyone it touches to access connections between the human and non-human world.
