The Awakening Angler YouTube Channel, OMF Events, LLC, and Limp Lizard BBQ have joined forces and formed WalleyeFest, LLC to present the 2nd annual WalleyeFest on Oneida Lake.

WalleyeFest & Derby is not just an event; it's a tradition reborn, inviting families, anglers, and the entire community to come together to celebrate the onset of spring in Central New York. Following the Lions Club final derby in 2022, WalleyeFest made its debut in early 2023 to bring back and expand this cherished event. Now entering its 45th year, the Derby has transformed into a three-day celebration of music, food, and outdoor fun!

The festivities kick off with a Friday night pre-party on, May 3rd, from 6-10 at The Pier Restaurant in Central Square. Join us for food, drinks, and music by Josh Deacons of Grizzly Ridge Band. WalleyeFest is also sponsoring the opening night race of the 2024 season at Brewerton Speedway. All WalleyeFest participants get a reduced price ticket at the gate for the May 3rd race. The excitement continues into Saturday, May 4th, and Sunday, May 5th, with the derby festivities carrying on until noon on Sunday. Weigh-ins end at 11:59 am Sunday, followed by an award ceremony at 1:00pm on the grounds of Brewerton Speedway..
