Local People for Local Rights
Every Ohioan retains an inalienable right to participate in community local self-government in the place where they live. But every citizen of Ohio is denied the full enjoyment of that right, and many are denied it completely.
Mission: OHCRN is a statewide, grassroots network working to educate, empower, and motivate Ohioans to build equitable communities, to secure the right of democratic local self-governance, and to recognize and establish the legal rights of Nature to exist and flourish throughout Ohio.
Vision:
We envision Ohio as a place where people have the right to decide in their communities on
issues affecting the health, safety, and welfare of present and future generations; we
recognize that people can only exist and thrive if Nature exists, flourishes
and thrives.
