North Carolina Central University is committed to international education. Through the Office of International Affairs (OIA), the University fosters internationalization on the following levels.

The Office of International Affairs hosts international research scholars through our J-1 Exchange visitor program from various countries and international organizations.
The Office of International Affairs hosts individual visitors and groups from around the world. Our visitors have come from locations such as Moldova, Ukraine, South Africa and India.
If you are a prospective international student and have questions concerning undergraduate or graduate admissions, please contact Undergraduate Admissions or Graduate Admissions. The deadlines for international students requiring an I-20 to study are March 1 (Fall grad), April 1 (Fall undergrad), and September 1 (Spring).

To promote research, professional development, and campus internationalization, the NCCU Division of Academic Affairs and the Office of the Provost have created the International Travel Grant (ITG) to offer limited resources to faculty and graduate/professional students.
