What is a Legacy Volunteer?
A Legacy Volunteer is someone who is committed to supporting and enhancing the experience of athletes with disabilities. They go beyond the role of a regular volunteer and become an integral part of our community. Legacy Volunteers make a lasting impact by dedicating their time, skills, and resources to help grow and sustain our organization.

NC Adapted Sports has several volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
Volunteer Opportunities include Cycle Mechanic, Cycle Event Support, Fundraising Team, Trail Support Rider, Trail Team, Wheelchair Basketball, and more.
Trail Support Riders are crucial to supporting adapted cyclists as they develop their trail riding skills.
Small successes add up to Greater Life Changing Experiences.
Did you know Wheelchair Basketball is a collegiate sport? Youth Wheelchair Basketball increases confidence and independence that cultivates life skills beyond the court.
You can make a positive impact on athletes with a physical disability.
Catalyst Sports and NC Adapted Sports have partner to offer Adapted Climbing at the Triangle Rock Club in Morrisville.
We have created an inclusive program where climbers with and with out a disability share the same wall space in an encouraging environment.

Volunteers play an indispensable role in our community, providing invaluable help and support to those in need. Without them, many organizations, like NCAS, would be unable to provide vital services and assistance.
