COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A man is in critical condition after a hit and run caused life-threatening injuries in north Columbus late Monday night.

According to Columbus police, a 57-year-old man was walking westbound and crossing Busch Boulevard when he was struck by a pickup truck near the intersection of Busch Boulevard and Shapter Avenue, just east of Worthington at around 11:10 p.m.

The victim was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital and listed in critical condition with severe injuries.

Police said they are looking for an lighter colored pickup truck, which continued northbound without stopping, but they do not have any other information on the collision or the driver.
