Kemper Center for Home Gardening

Welcome to the William T. Kemper Center for Home Gardening, which opened in 1991. Surrounding the building and spread out over 8.5 acres are 23 demonstration gardens filled with scores of ideas for home gardeners.

Walk through the gardens and discover new plant combinations, plants you didn't know you could grow, and some innovative uses for native plants. Don't forget to stop inside the Kemper Center and take advantage of the horticultural expertise offered by Missouri Botanical Garden staff and Master Gardener volunteers.

Visit our Gardening Help pages for details on what the Kemper Center for Home Gardening has to offer on site as well as online.
