On Saturday, September 4, 2021, the Erie SeaWolves will host Wonders Night at UPMC Park presented by UPMC Hamot and UPMC Health Plan. The event will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 1996 film ‘That Thing You Do!’

As a part of the celebration, the SeaWolves have scheduled Tom Everett Scott (Guy “Shades” Patterson), Johnathon Schaech (James “Jimmy” Mattingly II), and Steve Zahn (Leonard “Lenny” Haise) to appear at UPMC Park. The three actors will participate in a pre-game VIP Meet and Greet and an in-game charity autograph session. Both of these experiences are sold out. The actors will also participate in game day activities such as the ceremonial first pitch and Take Me Out to the Ballgame.

The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive SeaWolves sunglasses in honor of the “Shades” that Guy Patterson wore in the movie. After the game, attendees can watch ‘That Thing You Do!’ on the UPMC Park video board from the outfield grass (weather permitting).
