WEBINAR - Building effective procurement systems: Complementarities of MAPS and PEFA tools

The Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) and the Methodology for Assessing Procurement Systems (MAPS) are internationally recognized assessment frameworks that evaluate the public financial management and procurement systems of any country. Their methodologies are interlinked and inform each other. This webinar was an opportunity to learn how the two tools work together and discuss the country case of Zambia where both assessments were carried out. Participants gained a practical understanding of the links between the two methodologies and acquired evidence of their usefulness for improving the public financial management and procurement systems.
