UK Wide

1. Alpkit - prioritising funds to support projects that shift of focus over the coming months, prioritising funds to support projects that demonstrate an immediate impact on those affected by the Covid-19 virus crisis. £500 grants. 3 April.
2. #ArtInAid - for every acquisitions of artworks, Le Dame Art Gallery will donate 30% on sales to a charity of your choice or to one among those they have selected: WHO - Wellcome Trust - Italian Hospitals - CDC Foundation.
3. Asda - has donated £5m to its partners FareShare and the Trussell Trust. This will provide over 4 million meals to families in poverty, as well as more than 3000 charities access to free food over the next 3 months. That's fantastic of Asda, but the need is huge - support the Trussell Trust by donating here.
4. Big Society Capital - plans emergency £100m loan fund for charities.
5. Cadent Foundation - Midlands, North West England, South Yorkshire, East of England and North London. Committed £240k to the Trussell Trust last week, ready to support other worthy causes.
6. CAF Coronavirus Emergency Fund - organisations with income of £1m or less, up to £10k to support day-to-day activities in the current health emergency or your Covid-19 emergency response activities.
7. Greggs Foundation - funding for emergency food parcels, hardship payments and other support to schools and community hubs.
8. Halifax Foundation - prioritising Covid-19 related grant applications, will now consider applications from constituted groups not yet registered as a charity with the Charity Commission.
9. Indigo Trust - has donated £1m to the Trussell Trust for food banks.
10. Leathersellers Company - prioritise applications from UK registered charities supporting the homeless or those at risk of becoming homeless, provision of food and essential supplies, victims of domestic violence, nursing care to vulnerable patients.
11. Martin Lewis - has made £1m available to fund urgent coronavirus grants of £5k to £20k to small registered UK charities - community aid, financial advice help and more -  to help with specific UK coronavirus-related poverty relief projects. His hope is to get the money is distributed within the next couple of weeks. Closed to new applications. 
12. National Lottery - announces all the funding decisions for next 6 months (up to £300m) will be devoted to crisis and they will accelerate the cash part of this funding as much as possible. 
13. National Zakat Foundation - people in our community whose financial situation is badly affected by this public health crisis. 3 April.
14. Neighbourly - micro-grants of up to £400, to support good causes that are helping communities.
15. National Emergencies Trust - launching an to help those most effected by the outbreak. They collaborate with charities and other bodies to raise and distribute money and support victims at the time of a domestic disaster.
16. Princes Trust - £5million fund entrepreneurs aged 18 to 30, grants and tailored support to maintain core business operations, as well as meet any existing financial commitments. 5 April.
17. Skills For Care - User Led Organisations (ULO): identify the development requirements and training needs of individual employers and PAs, and deliver, or organise, purchase and support training for individual employers and PAs. 6 April.
18. Social Investment Scotland has launched a £2m Credit Union Resilience Fund to support credit unions with their working capital and liquidity. 3 Apr.
19. Standard Life Foundation - work directly related to crisis, addressing challenges & helping to contribute to social change which tackles financial problems and improves living standards. 
20. Sylvia Adams Charitable Trust - coronavirus funding announced, no details yet. Works with young people.
21. Tech Force 19 - innovators who can support the elderly, vulnerable and self-isolating during COVID-19 to apply for government funding of up to £25,000 to test their solution.
22. Tesco - £30 million support for local communities, including £25 million food donations programme. Bags of Help COVID-19 Community Fund grants of £500, including women’s refuges, food banks, hospices, homeless charities, social isolation groups, schools, charities supporting the elderly. 3 April.
23. The Fore is offering fast-track emergency grants of up to £5k to organisations in its portfolio – with the option to apply for more than one grant. Pioneers Post 3 April.
24. Vo Tech Now - part of Ufi’s response to support the vocational learning sector in the UK during the Covid-19 pandemic.
25. Yapp Charitable Trust - small UK charities affected by the impact of COVID-19, grants up to £3k. Registered charities in England and Wales, with a total annual expenditure of less than £40k; core costs and staffing. 3 April.

1. Art Fund - Museum Network - adapting programmes and being flexible around timing, open to funding all types of activity, even those that would ordinarily be ineligible, and can make decisions very swiftly. 4 April

1. Artist Trust Relief Fund - rapid response grants supporting critical needs of artists whose livelihoods have been impacted by COVID-19. 5 April.
2. Authors Emergency Fund – professional authors who are resident in the UK or British subjects – including all types of writers, illustrators, literary translators, scriptwriters, poets, journalists and others.
3. CaRe20 – Caring for Retail - £10m appeal, financial, emotional, physical and vocational support to store workers who may be ineligible for government support during the health emergency.
4. Care Workers Crisis Grants - grants to care workers.
5. Film and TV Emergency Relief Fund - established with a £1m donation from Netflix for anyone impacted in the industry by shutdown.
6. Film & TV Charity - up to £500 to cover urgent and immediate needs. They could cover things like your general living costs, essential white goods, urgent repairs or medical costs. 4 April.
7. Licence Trade Charity - grants £50pw to £100pw. 6 April.
8. Make A Difference Trust - small pockets of financial assistance to those in theatre experiencing unexpected financial hardship due to theatre closures as a direct result of Government advice aimed at containing the spread of Coronavirus.
9. Middlesborough Council - Crisis and Community Support grants to individuals. 6 April.
10. Musicians Union - hardship fund. 4 April.
11. PBA COVID-19 Relief Fund - licensed beauty professionals who have not been able to work or are experiencing financial hardships
12. Racing Welfare - hardship grants for members of the racing community facing financial difficulties due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Single people £150 and a family £210. Immediate basic needs such as food and heating. 3 April.
13. Rory Peck Trust - professional freelance journalists whose only source of income is from journalism and significantly affected by the pandemic - COVID-19 Hardship Fund. 3 April.
14. Seafarers Trust - grants to benefit seafarers and maintain seafarers’ welfare services in difficulties. 5 April.

Support for Theatre Professionals - collection of funds and sources of advice or support for those in the industry. Funds are available from institution specific funders and from those that support the wider industry.

1. Young Classical Artists Trust - COVID19 hardship fund. 5 April.
2. Young Women’s Trust - emergency fund to help young women aged 18-30 facing financial crisis to afford essentials such as food, utilities and rent for themselves and their families will receive £150 each. 3 April.

Sport

1. Comic Relief - some of the money raised through Sport Relief 2020 will go to organisations on the frontline. Support for grantees through adapting activities, reviewing timeframes, or re-budgeting remaining funds.
2. Sport England: Community Emergency Fund - including those not currently supported by us, who have a role in supporting the nation to be active but who are experiencing short-term financial hardship or the ceasing of operations due to the impact of coronavirus. Organisations can apply for grants between £300 and £10,000.
3. Sport England: Sector Partner Fund - Active Partnerships and national governing bodies, on bespoke measures that may be needed for any instances of immediate financial distress.
4. Sport England: Sector Stimulation Fund - will be rolled out in coming weeks.

1. The Scottish Government - has announced £350m to support welfare and wellbeing, including a £20m 3rd sector Resilience Fund.
2. SCVO - have collated funding resources and information for Scottish charities.
3. Creative Scotland Open Fund: Sustaining Creative Development - support to help individuals and organisations to sustain themselves, £1k and £50k to enable organisations to explore ways of working that will help them to adapt and respond to the current changing circumstances
4. Creative Scotland - Bridging Bursary Fund - individual artists and freelancers who have lost income from their creative work and/or practice, £500 and £2500 to help support immediate needs.
5. Emergency Art Workers Support Fund - micro grants for individuals with no other current financial support or savings, immediate loss of income from freelance work. 4 April.

3. Cambridgeshire Coronavirus Community Fund - £1k - £5k, older people (aged 60 and over) and other vulnerable people (high risk, pre-existing medical conditions), including the need for self-isolation, financial hardship, potential for hunger, lack of shelter, further exacerbation of health issues, loneliness and isolation.
4. Cheshire Community Foundation - activities that help vulnerable people self-isolating, provide funding to coordinate community response and support volunteers, and increase capacity for organisations providing emergency support, such as foodbanks or benefits advice.
5. Childhood Trust - Champions for Children match funding campaign June to raise unrestricted funding for charities working with children and young people across London. 6 April.
6. Community Chest Fund - Runcorn, exceptionally keen for the fund to support projects and initiatives to tackle any emerging challenges the virus is creating.

29. London Landmarks - have announced the Local Landmarks Challenge. Runners identify their own local landmark, run a 5k, a 10k or a half marathon around it and raise money for charity. They have time until 3 May, anyone can participate, even if they could not secure a ticket for the main event.
30. Maanch Response Fund – appeal launched, including corporate and high net worth donors. Join platform (it’s free), then call them to discuss. UK based charities, including working internationally – elderly, children, food banks, mental health, medical research.

44. Steve Morgan Foundation - £1m per week to charities in north Wales, Merseyside and Cheshire to help the most vulnerable members of society.
45. Suffolk Community Foundation - older people at risk (typically over the age of 70), vulnerable people with medical conditions, those that are isolated and therefore have limited support networks, those picking up extra demand – such as food banks, telephone befriending, and advice services, good neighbourhood schemes.
46. Surrey Coronavirus Response Fund - groups who are urgently responding to the needs of vulnerable local people.
47. Sussex Community Foundation - Sussex Crisis Fund, initially to help local charities and community groups.
48. Somerset Community Foundation - Somerset Coronavirus Response and Recovery Fund. Grants to be made on a rolling basis, beginning as soon as funds become available.

53. Wiltshire and Swindon Coronavirus Response Fund - prioritise groups supporting individuals who are most affected by the outbreak, particularly those facing issues brought about by isolation or loss of income.
54. West Berkshire & North Hampshire - Greenham Trust - £250,000 for local charities and voluntary organisations supporting the elderly and vulnerable people.
55. Worthing Community Chest - grants of up to £250 for small, ad hoc, neighbourhood projects that have been set up in response to the coronavirus.
56. Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation - smaller charities, £250 and £2,000 to groups that are helping communities, including running, staff and travel costs as well as volunteer expenses. 6 April.
57. Young Barnet - brilliant people, so no surprise they've created a task force of charities to build a fund to support Barnet grassroots organisations in providing frontline support.

UK Government Financial Support

1. Coronavirus - you can find comprehensive charity guidance on all the initiatives on the Charity Tax Group Coronavirus hub.
2. Salaries - charities included in Government coronavirus wage scheme. 80 per cent of workers’ wages from the government, if they would otherwise have been made redundant.
3. Local Authority Funding - £2.9 billion to support vulnerable people, including people who are homeless during the COVID-19 crisis.
4. Gift Aid - We fail to claim £600m in Gift Aid each year and we now need that money more than ever. Unlike funding bids, as long as you qualify, the money is certain. There are different types. Are your claiming everything you're entitled to? This Charity Excellence resource will give you what you need to get yours.

2. Binance Charity Foundation - Crypto Against COVID, $5m, to raise money from the broader digital currency and blockchain community. Primarily for medical supplies for countries, including Italy, Germany and the U.S.

4. The Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) has a database of grants, loans and other cash available to entrepreneurs everywhere. 3 April.
5. Face Book COVID 19 Solidarity Response Fundraiser - matching up to $10 million in donations to prevent, detect and respond to the outbreak around the world.

1. Gates Foundation - up to $100 million to improve detection, isolation and treatment efforts; protect at-risk populations in Africa and South Asia; and accelerate the development of vaccines, drugs and diagnostics.
2. #GivingTuesdayNow - day of Global Action for Giving on 5 May. Committing $200,000 to launch The Starling Fund to support its existing network, with priority to leaders in the regions of greatest crisis or lowest resource. 4 April. 
3. Global Giving - Coronavirus Relief Fund - send doctors, nurses, and other front line responders to communities in need, get masks, ventilators, and other lifesaving medical supplies to hospitals and clinics, deliver essential items to struggling families and older individuals in quarantined cities and refugee camps, feed children that rely on school meals as their only source of nutrition, support hygiene awareness efforts. 4. Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP) has two emergency funds - Latino organisations for unexpected costs – one focused on migration, another on civic participation. 3 April.
5. HSBC COVID-19 - USD25 million, relief and recovery efforts around the world. 5 April.

IFACCA - redirected and new funds and emergency support for arts and cultural organisations worldwide, listed by country. 4 April.

1. IKEA Foundation - committed to spending up to €10 million, primarily with existing partners. 3 April.
2. KFF – funding internationally – donors, amounts, purpose and countries, including section for non-profits.
3. MIT SOLVE is seeking solutions for prevention, accurate detection, and rapid response of outbreaks; $10,000 grants. Deadline 18 June. 3 April.
4. Netflix - $100m to help creative community, including “third parties and nonprofits offering emergency relief to out-of-work crew and cast in countries where Netflix has a big production base.”
5. Open Road Alliance, a US-based fund - social enterprises in difficulty, 4 loan products and grants of up to $100,000 to organisations tackling the virus. 3 April.
6. Peace Foundation - Rapid Response Grants to address COVID-19, open to young people aged between 13 and 25.
7. Freelancing platform PeoplePerHour is offering small businesses £10m worth of credits to hire one of its 2.4 million freelancers. 3 April.
8. PRS For Music - PRS members globally - grants of up to £1000 each, depending on need.
9. Entrepreneur and investor Sam Altman is looking to fund startups or projects directly helping with COVID-19. 3 April.
10. Santander Fund - financed by a reduction in senior management, board compensation and employee contributions, to provide medical equipment and supplies to help limit the spread of the virus. The bank expects the initial value of the fund will be at least €25 million.
11. Start Fund COVID 19 - virus-related humanitarian needs in low-income countries. IKEA Euro1.5m start up funds. 3 April.

13. Unilever - and Briitish Government for UK and International NGOs in running public awareness campaigns for handwashing, including Kenya, Ghana and Bangladesh. 3 April.
14. Wellcome Epidemic Preparedness: COVID-19 funding call - currently closed to new expressions of interest while proposals received are reviewed.
15. WHO COVID 19 - Solidarity Response Fund - essential supplies such as personal protective equipment to frontline health workers, enable all countries to track and detect the disease by boosting laboratory capacity through training and equipment, ensure health workers and communities everywhere have access to the latest information to protect themselves, prevent infection and care for those in need, accelerate efforts to fast-track lifesaving vaccines, diagnostics and treatments.

1. CAF South Africa - funding to help NPOs who render essential services to the most marginalised individuals, groups and communities in society. 3 April.
2. COVID 19 Relief Fund South Africa - athletes and entertainers who have been affected by COVID-19 restrictions in the country. 3 April.
3. Covid-19 National Trust Fund - Karpowership Ghana Company Limited has made a contribution of ¢300,000.
4. South Africa - Solidarity Fund, R500m, key objective rapid action to “cushion” the impact of the pandemic for the most vulnerable, support communities, and unite South Africans. Health support to the public and private health-care centres, humanitarian efforts and the Solidarity Campaign. 3 April.
5. Urgent Action Fund Africa - rapid response grants and technical support to women’s rights organisations, women's human rights defenders and activists who identify strategic and time sensitive opportunities to advance women's rights in Africa. 3 April.

1. Give2Asia - partners with trusted local nonprofits that have the capacity and local knowledge to respond. 3 April.

3. Cambodia - Metfone has been raising a charitable fund named “Metfone’s Fighting Covid-19 Fund”. 4 April.

1. Alberta Government - charitable and non-profit organizations helping the vulnerable during the pandemic: $30 million in funding. 5 April.

US

1. 4-CT Charitable Organization - Uniting Donors With Connecticut Programs Responding to COVID-19. 4 April.
2. Aspen Tech Policy Hub - applications from technologists (US citizens/residents only) for projects that will help mitigate the effects of Covid-19, with winning teams allotted up to $15,000. Deadline 30 March. 3 April.
3. Bloomington and Monroe County - $333,000 to support local nonprofits during the pandemic.

5. The Horizons Foundation is contributing $200,000 to provide emergency grants to LGBTQ organisations in the Bay Area. 3 April.
6. J. Paul Getty Trust - $10 million relief fund to aid small and midsize arts organizations in Los Angeles County. 6 April.
7. Kansas City - initial round of grants as soon as possible to support operations and services, including, housing support, food insecurity, access to health care, other critical human services. 4 April.
8. Camden Property Trust (Houston) - $5 million Resident Relief Fund for Camden residents experiencing financial losses.
9. Maryland COVID-19 - grant and loan funds for small businesses. 4 April.
10. Northern Colorado COVID-19 Response Fund - $200,125 to 15 human service groups across Larimer County, including Allenspark, Berthoud, Drake, Estes Park, Fort Collins, Glen Haven, Loveland, Wellington, and unincorporated areas of the county. 6 April.
11. NYC COVID-19 Response & Impact Fund - nonprofit service providers struggling with the health and economic effects: grants and loans. 6 April.
12. One Louisville: COVID-19 Response Fund - financial support to households, businesses, and nonprofit organizations working at the frontlines of the Louisville-area coronavirus outbreak. 4 April.
13. PH COVID-19 Fund - more than $8 million so far to help Philadelphia-area nonprofits. 6 April.
14. San Diego COVID-19 Community Response Fund - nonprofit organizations that are supporting local workers and families. 4 April.
15. Seattle Foundation - nonprofits working to provide our region’s most vulnerable communities with emergency assistance, such as financial support, healthcare, and childcare. 4 April.
16. Tao Group Hospitality Cares - to help ease the financial burden current and former employees may face as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. 4 April.

Platforms

1. Work For Good - removes membership fees for business donors to encourage the to give to charities. 2 April.
2. National Funding Scheme has created 3 matched funding appeals for food banks, the homeless and the elderly. Funding will be donated to charities.
3. Crowdfunder - has made fundraising on its platform free for charity and community groups during the crisis.
4. Give As You Live - cancels donation fees for food banks.

Other

1. Chapel & York - are waiving their normal fees to speed up matching donors’ fund with charities. 3 April.
2. The United Nations Foundation and Swiss Philanthropy Foundation set up the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund to raise money for the World Health Organization’s efforts. Facebook and Google are match funding donations. 3 April
3. BlackRock, the world’s largest investment group, $50m. April.
4. The Rockefeller Foundation - $20m to create a better tracking and management system for the virus. April.
