In 2020 I commissioned 12 Alabama artists to create editions of 10 works each for the first iteration of CARE Packages, a project to celebrate the unique talents of artisans in our state, support the ongoing work of ALVAN to benefit all Alabama artists, and to provide financial support to visual artists working throughout Alabama. I collaborated with ALVAN board member Mimi Rogers, PaperWorkers Local, and Samford University to plan the first Alabama Printmaking Conference in July 2022. I also collaborated with ALVAN board secretary Kristin Law and Black Belt Treasures to plan the inaugural Alabama Fiber Art Conference in January 2023.
