Add sections to your profile

Displaying your professional accomplishments and interests can help to enhance your profile. This could help increase your profile views, which can help you build your network and connect to new opportunities.

You can use the Add profile section in the introduction section to include the following in your profile:

  • Intro 
  • About 
  • Featured 
  • Background 
  • Skills 
  • Accomplishments 
  • Additional information 
  • Supported languages
  • Services
To add sections to your profile:
  1. Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
  2. Click View Profile.
  3. Click Add profile section in your introduction section.

  4. Click on the section you’d like to add and select the subsection, if applicable.

  5. Enter the required information in the pop-up window that appears.
  6. Click Save.

Here's a tip

The Project URL field is not available for newly-added projects. To add a link to the Projects section, click/tap Add media, then select Add a link.
