Do you know your 'why'? Are you moving forward with a purpose, passion, and determination? MG Joseph Marsiglia, Commanding General of the 3D Medical Command (Deployment Support), talks to our students about knowing their 'why'. Many of our students express coming to our course not necessarily understanding how they fall into the vast - and sometimes confusing - medical mission of the Army. But when they leave CFGOLD - they better understand how all specialties, commands, and components come together to produce a powerhouse medical force that is Army medicine. CFGOLD connects the dots for our students - not just with the material we put in front of you, but with the discussions, the people, and the opportunities we pack into 5 days. We aim to connect, grow, and advance the impact of our force. Will you join us this summer to refine your 'why'? #CFGOLDFY24

Arts & Cultural Institution (ANVAM) - Chairman & Director (CEO); Arts Patron & Policy Advocate; Management Consultant - Strategic Advisory, Innovation, Ethics, Commercial, Project Management
Chief of Australian Army, LTGEN Simon Stuart, has reaffirmed his priorities: 1. Trust 2. Readiness 3. Resource stewardship, & 4. TELLING OUR STORY TELLING OUR STORY is a topic that should be discussed, debated and work shopped widely across army. To begin, given trust is the first priority it’s fair to say storytelling must be authentic. No filters. It is the creative and curious diggers will be the authentic story tellers. Their toolkit, as artists, includes the pen, paintbrush, musical instruments, keyboard, microphone, stage, camera, canvas, clay, wood, stone and paper. Neither rank, corps, operational experience, age or time in service determines who can be an effective artist and authentic story teller. Coincidentally there is a senario where “resource stewardship” is a key enabler of authentic story telling. One incredible resource with a long connection to army’s story, yet whose stewardship has been wanting, is Melbourne’s former Repat Clinic, now unused for 27+ years. The potential of this place to support the Chief’s priorities is, arguably, unrivalled. I Trust, while ANVAM is Ready, that it’s vision for the clinic will be agreed to in Canberra in support of those priorities and the many other benefits to ADF capability.
