#Commissioning T3 West is now in service! 🚊 3.2km between Porte d'Asnières and Porte Dauphine and 7 new stations later, the extension of #T3b was brought into service this morning! Our Colas Rail France teams worked for 3 years, day and night, to carry out the track and infrastructure works, including: 🛤️ ▪️ Design studies ▪️ Catenary structures ▪️ Multi-tube platforms ▪️ Civil engineering for stations and curbs ▪️ Track surfacing (stone & plant) And the construction of the overhead contact line (OCL) including the traction equipment for the entire extension: ⚡ ▪️ Execution studies ▪️ Supply ▪️ Installation & testing of all 6.4 km of OCL ▪️ Installation of electrical distribution equipment We are proud to have contributed, on behalf of our customer RATPgroup, to this major project to transform and relieve congestion in western Paris towards more sustainable mobility. #WorksiteNews 🚧 Today a key milestone has been achieved on the metro #Line15South project of the Grand Paris Express which became Société des grands projets. 🚇   At Clamart station the last rail welding was carried out this morning, 2 years before its commissioning. ✨   For Colas Rail it represents 6 years of work, 8 stations and 17km of tracks later to connect the Noisy-Champs to Vitry-sur-Seine as well as the maintenance & storage site located in Champigny-sur-Marne with a global scope of project management, studies, supply & execution of work, tests for the railway, rigid catenary and linear equipment.   Congratulations to all the teams from Colas Rail & Alstom involved, the many employees and companions committed to making this project a success! 👏 #OnTrackForASustainableFuture #Mobility #Paris #Metro
