The Faculty Approachability Project welcomes Stephanie A.N. Levin BS, MBA author of a recent EdSurge opinion piece entitled "Many Students Don't Inform Their Colleges About Their Disability. That Needs to Change."
We will discuss Stephanie's experience with partial vision loss while she was in college and the subsequent research she did into university processes and policies around students who need to seek an accommodation. We will focus on some practical steps faculty can take to ensure students with various needs can be set up to succeed.
Stephanie is earning her doctorate in Educational Leadership at Rowan University and currently works in student affairs and alumni engagement at the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine.
