Title: Analyst

Location: Washington, D.C. metro area & remote (hybrid)


Analysts will develop solutions for clients in organizational design, strategy, supply chain & network operations, and process efficiency and effectiveness. Work is performed in a team environment with Rios Partners employees, clients, and other partner organizations. Our primary place of performance is at the client site (Washington D.C. metro area), and employees are free to work at home when physical presence is not required.


As an Analyst, you will:

  • Build relationships with Rios Partners employees and clients. This job requires extensive team interaction with both co-workers and clients. Being polite, inclusive, and respectful is crucial.
  • Frame problems in a manner that identifies the root cause. We are looking for individuals who can dig beyond initial symptoms and pinpoint core challenges before developing solutions.
  • Analyze data quickly and efficiently. Rios Partners is a data-driven organization; we support our hypotheses with accurate analysis. The ability to quickly identify required data, gather it, and analyze it in an efficient manner is critical to success.
  • Communicate in a professional and persuasive manner. We expect all members of the team to be able to understand their work and present it to outside parties in a clear and coherent manner.
  • Deliver results. In short, we get stuff done and we’re looking for team members that do not give up when they encounter challenges and know how to effectively transition from analysis to implementation. Rios is looking for tenacity.


Required education, skills, and experience

  • Analyst: Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree
  • Senior Analyst: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years professional experience OR Master’s with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience AND at least 2 years relevant experience
  • Strong data analysis and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency with Excel and Power Point


Preferred education, skills, and experience

  • Coursework, internships, or experience supporting projects related to Human Centered Design, Supply Chain, Innovation, Org Design, Policy, Government, or Healthcare
  • Power BI, Tableau, Python
  • Sense of curiosity and ability to drive work independently


Additional requirements

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance


Benefits Information

  • Profit-sharing/Performance Bonus: Rios Partners is committed to ensuring the success of the organization benefits the entire team. As such, a portion of profits is paid out to employees. The total amount of Profit-Sharing/Performance Bonus distributed to the team may vary year to year and will depend on numerous factors, including market conditions, company performance, and individual performance.
  • Retirement plan: Rios Partners offers a 401(k) and contributes an amount equivalent to 3% of the employee’s base salary each month to the designated fund. Employees may choose to contribute additional money into the 401(k) from their paycheck each month.
  • Health and Vision insurance: Rios Partners covers 90% of the premium for both the employee and their dependents for a Platinum plan health coverage through United Healthcare; this includes coverage for both medical and vision insurance.
  • Dental insurance: Rios Partners covers 90% of the premium for both the employee and their dependents for a dental insurance plan through Delta Dental.
  • Disability insurance: Rios Partners will pay 100% of the premium for both short-term and long-term disability insurance provided through Guardian.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and holidays: You will be eligible for three weeks of PTO (15 days) and 11 paid holidays each year. In additional accrued PTO, Rios Partners provides additional time off for both expected and unexpected events (e.g., Bereavement Leave, Jury Duty, Voting).
  • Maternity, Paternity, and Adoption Leave: Rios Partners celebrates employees’ choice to become parents. We are also aware that pregnancy and caring for an infant or a newly adopted child may cause additional life complexities. As such, we provide employees twelve (12) weeks of paid leave in association with the birth of an employee’s own child or the placement of a child with the employee in connection with adoption or foster care. To be eligible for Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave Program, team members must: 1) Have worked at Rios Partners full-time for a minimum of 12 continuous months. 2) Be in good employment standing with Rios Partners (i.e., not on probation). 3) Request leave a minimum of 30 days in advance if possible. If this is not possible, please place your request as soon as possible once you become aware of it. Regardless of eligibility for the Rios Partners Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave Program, all Rios Partners employees are eligible for the Department of Labor’s Family and Medical Leave Act entitlements as well as Rios Partners Short Term Disability plan.
  • Employee Assistance Program: Rios Partners cares about the mental health of our employees.
