About us

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee shall provide insight and advice into promoting diversity and inclusion in INFORMS and the profession. The committee will consider and develop strategies for Board consideration that foster greater participation and make INFORMS more accommodating and reflective of members from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities. The Committee will be aware of and ensure coordination and collaboration of diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts throughout INFORMS.     🌟 Calling All Student Researchers! 🌟 The INFORMS Minority Issues Forum (MIF) is excited to announce the call for the 2024 MIF Student Poster Competition posters. This is a fantastic opportunity to present your work at the INFORMS Annual Meeting in Seattle, WA, and compete for a $500 prize! 📅 Important Dates: May 17, 2024: Abstract submission deadline. May 31, 2024: Notification of abstract acceptance. July 8, 2024: Final poster PDF submission (Early submissions by June 24th are eligible for feedback). October 20-23, 2024: Poster session and winner announcement. 📜 Submission Details: Abstracts should be no more than 500 characters, and titles should be within 100 characters. Open only to INFORMS members who are also MIF members and must be the lead author of the work. 🏆 Awards: First place wins $500!
