Yesterday was an historic day at GranthamPoole. In honor of Vance Randall’s retirement, we threw him a big party and invited current and retired partners. We were honored to have many of them join us and even pose for a group shot. Retired partners pictured (from left to right), Greg Markow, Richard Reitano, Lisa Browning, Alan Arrington, Jim Poole, Vance Randall, Tricia Randall (Vance’s wife), Dorothy Gray, Mary Ann Mosal, Teena Grantham Jepsen (founding partner, the late Tom Grantham’s wife), and Bill Crim. An almost equally difficult feat, we were able to get 19 of our 23 current partners together for a picture as well! Left to right, Dickens Fournet, John McCallum, Natalie Hutto, Melanie Hamel, Robby Groves, Danielle King, Stephanie Smith, Angela Herzog, Lynn Lister, Vance Randall, Tricia Randall, Alex Sanders, Melanie Woodrick, Suzy Tubb, Brad Hatchett, Karen Wagner, Bob Cunningham, Charley Rafferty, George Butler, and Ken Papizan.

Partners Melanie Woodrick and Lynn Lister and Senior Staff Accountant Kaitlyn Dortch attended the Mississippi College School of Business' Awards Banquet last week and got the treat of seeing one of our soon to be accountants winning the Wall Street Journal Accounting Award. Avery Hederman, pictured with her grandmother, Jane Hederman, and Dr. Marcelo Eduardo, Dean of the School of Business, will be joining GranthamPoole in the fall. We’re excited to have you, Avery!

One night a year, the Mississippi Children's Museum allows grownups to play after hours during their Ignite the Night fundraising event. This year, partner Melanie Hamel and senior staff accountant Brooke Stanley, CPA and their husbands attended the event and had a blast! 🎉 🥳
