About us
Coachella Valley Behavioral Health, located in Indio, California, is a premier provider of inpatient behavioral health treatment and will be opening in winter 2023. The multidisciplinary team at our hospital serves adults age 18 and older who are struggling with mental health concerns like posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, psychosis, self-harming behaviors, and suicidal ideation. We also provide a detox program for individuals who have addictions to opioids, alcohol, and other substances. Our inpatient program is designed to provide round-the-clock support to meet the diverse needs of adults who have acute mental health concerns. Patients receive customized therapeutic services from experienced and qualified professionals. These professionals may include psychiatrists, psychologists, registered nurses, licensed professional counselors, licensed clinical social workers, dietitians, recreational therapists, and other behavioral health staff. In our detox program, adults who have addictions can receive focused treatment as they withdraw from substances. Members of our medical staff oversee the withdrawal process and closely monitor patients. While detoxing, patients can engage in therapeutic programming such as family, group, and experiential therapies. Today we held a ceremonial ribbon-cutting at Coachella Valley Behavioral Health, our new 80-bed hospital in Indio, California. Our state-of-the-art facility will provide inpatient and intensive outpatient services in support of the significant behavioral health needs of our community.
