Obituary

Dr. Timothy James Schroeder from Spring, TX earned his Angel Wings on Dec 11,2022. Tim was born in Bellflower CA. He accompanied his parents around the country during their Military career. Tim graduated high school in Limestone, ME & received his degrees in Political Science, Molecular Biology, & Chemistry from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, TX. From there he went on to earn Masters Degrees in Chemistry and Business Administration (with a focus on Finance and Marketing) from the University of Houston, Clear Lake and a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Creighton University. Tim found his calling in life as a Doctor of Pharmacy, and he was dedicated to patient health and welfare, demonstrated a deep passion for providing the very best to patients and staff.

Always wanting to expand his knowledge and learn more, Tim earned his Advanced Fellowship in Anti-Aging and Functional Medicine FAARFM, ABAAHP from The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). Tim was an avid reader – amassing a large collection of print and online books. If he could, he would have been a fulltime student for life.

Tim earned his Private Pilot license in 2019. He loved the freedom and excitement of being up above and flying from town-to-town. It was a dream of his since childhood when he aspired to be an astronaut. He always said when he gained more flight experience, he would volunteer to transport homeless and rescued dogs to shelters and rescue groups in other cities and states. Tim is survived by his wife, Adina Nicole (Niki) Schroeder of 23 years, his parents Ch David Schroeder & Leneva (Dolly) Schroeder, sisters Jeanine Schroeder & Jodelle Prettysoundingfluteswogger, nephew Bailey D Hodges and niece Mae J. Hakenewert, aunt Pam Dettmar, uncle Steve Dettmar, aunt Kim Kaufman, uncle Jim Kaufman, cousin Toby Laine, great-aunt Pearl Glasser, numerous second-cousins, in-laws Wayne & Jeanette Aurich.

Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides of the family.

Tim’s philosophy of life was to take one day at a time, find the positive and enjoy the moment. He was strong in faith and often reminded family and friends that “The end goal is what matters”. Tim loved his dogs and is now reunited with his favorite, Cooper.

Tim will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew him. Every year we will celebrate his life with some of his favorite foods/drinks: gummi bears, chips & salsa, Dr. Pepper, Coke, Jack Daniels, crawfish, hot beef jerky and mint chocolate chip ice cream.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Basset Buddies Rescue of Texas (bbrtx.org)
