Oral Presentation
In order to get the abstract published into the abstract book the participant is reguired to pay the registration fee and participate in the on-site conference.
In oral presentations, speakers will report recent findings in fundamental or applied research followed by a short discussion with the audience. Oral presentations are limited to 12 minutes, which includes a 2-3-minute discussion.
Poster Presentation
In order to get the abstract published into the abstract book the participant is reguired to pay the registration fee and participate in the on-site conference.
Instructions
Please pay attention to the following when preparing your poster:
- Poster layout dimensions: A0: 118.9 cm (height) x 84.1 cm (width), portrait format
- State the title, the authors, and the institutions at the top of your poster in easily readable bold letters
- Indicate the presenting author if different from the first author
- Disclose your potential conflicts of interest
- The text and the illustrations should be readable from a distance of 2 meters
- Velcro (easiest to use), pushpins, or thumbtacks will be provided to mount your poster.
- The presenters are asked to set up the poster on the congress venue on Tuesday 14th May, and to take it away on Friday 17th of May.

The presence of authors at their posters
The presence of authors at their posters will be required only during the scheduled poster session on Wednesday 15th May at 8:15-9:45 a.m., in order to permit presenters to visit and discuss the work of others. It is recommended that you hand-carry your poster to the conference. Refer to your acceptance letter and/or the final conference program for the location of your poster session.
Poster competition: The AIESEP wants to highlight the poster presentation as an excellent way to present one's research. Therefore, the poster evaluation committee will choose the best three posters in every congress including AIESEP 2024 in Jyväskylä. It may be your poster that brings new, meaningful scientific knowledge to the audience in visually attractive way!
Printing poster at the University of Jyväskylä: The material has to be in PDF-format, in the right size (A0: 118.9 cm (height) x 84.1 cm (width), portrait format) and the resolution in the pictures needs to be minimum 300 dpi.

Paper and plastic posters must be transported on a roll.
Fabric posters can be folded into a suitcase, etc.
Symposium
In order to get the abstract published into the abstract book the participant is reguired to pay the registration fee and participate in the on-site conference.
A symposium is a performance by 3-6 researchers under a certain topic or theme. A symposium is scheduled for 75 minutes. One possible structure of the symposium: The Chair of the Symposium introduces the Symposium background and theme (15 min), three presenters each have 15 minutes to present, and, in the end, Chair leads an open discussion (15 min).
