How to Secure Your Summer 2022 Internship NOW

While the general rule for the campus application process recommends applying 6 months before an internship begins, many companies have expanded this timeline and are opening their summer roles as early as one year before the official start date. This means that many summer 2022 internships are open as early as July with recruiters currently hiring for promising students to fill these roles.

Lucky for you, the Jopwell team is always one step ahead and ready to give you the inside scoop on next summer’s internships and priority access to connect with recruiters now. We're excited to announce a three-week series, GET HIRED, for our campus community.

Here's what you can expect from GET HIRED:

Week One: GET INFORMED

  • Learn how to overcome imposter syndrome at our Paving the Way: First-Gen Perspectives event on Tuesday, July 20th. Attendees for this event will also receive a 1:1 session with a Prudential recruiter.
  • Learn how to optimize your LinkedIn profile and leverage your digital network at our Mastering your LinkedIn Profile workshop on Thursday, July 22nd.
  • Get the inside scoop from recruiters themselves on what makes a candidate stand out and what mistakes to avoid!

Week Two: GET THE INTERVIEW

  • Secure your next internship by learning how to market yourself and your skill sets.
  • Discover the best methods to excel in the interview process at our Hack the Accelerator workshop on Wednesday, July 28th. BlackRock will give us an exclusive look at their interview process to help you land a role at an investment bank.
  • Practice your public speaking and virtual networking skills with recruiters.

Week Three: GET CONNECTED

  • Kickstart your job search by refining your personal brand and story.
  • Find out how to optimize and leverage your experience within your resume.
