Let’s make sure ending hunger in Minnesota is at the top of the legislature’s to-do list!

When: Wednesday, March 8th 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

10:00-11:30 am: Welcome

Learn about the key issues
Hear from guest speakers, including Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan
Prepare and practice speaking to your legislators

12:00-5:00 pm: Meetings with legislators

Meetings will be set up for you by Hunger Solutions staff, all you have to do is show up!
Legislative meetings will take place during the hours of 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Where: Christ Lutheran Church on Capitol Hill, 105 University Ave. West, Saint Paul, Minn. More information will be sent prior to the event.

Enter in the back of the church building and follow the signs to registration.
Parking is NOT allowed in the Church lot. There is a pay lot on the corner of Rice and Sherburne, and the Bethesda ramp is kitty-corner from the Church lot. Some street parking is also available. You can also take the Green Line. View a map of parking options here.

What is Hunger Day on the Hill?

We know that we can only solve hunger if we work together. Hunger Day on the Hill is your chance to gather with other anti-hunger advocates and take part in the legislative process!

Hunger Day on the Hill is a great opportunity to learn more about hunger-fighting efforts at the state level and to speak to your legislators about hunger in Minnesota and what we can do to fix it.

Who goes to Hunger Day?

All are welcome!

Past attendees have included food shelf workers and volunteers, anti-poverty and food justice advocates, students, community members, and people who care about ending hunger in our state!
