Nick Bartish

Environmental Scientist

I grew up in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Fort Collins, Colorado. Being so close to such a beautiful area instilled a sense of awe and fascination with the natural world that has since guided my life. In my adolescence I moved to the Pacific Northwest, a decidedly perfect place to pursue that fascination. I attended Western Washington University and took courses in just about every different aspect of ecology that I could think of, my favorites being limnology, salmon habitat and ecology, and wetland ecology. I am thrilled to be a part of Herrera, working with stormwater in an effort to minimize our footprint on the environment. Outside of work, you would likely find me hiking in the North Cascades, playing guitar, reading, or enjoying any one of Seattleā€™s fine breweries.
