Travel waiver for neighbor island and continental U.S. travel due to weather

Dec. 20, 2022 10:30 A.M. HST

Due to the convergence of neighbor island operational disruptions and inclement winter weather in the continental United States, we’ve issued a travel waiver for all Hawaiian Airlines flights within the neighbor islands, as well as flights between Hawaii and the continental U.S., scheduled between Dec. 20 and Dec. 25, 2022 HST. See waiver options below.

  • Reschedule your flight at no additional cost:
If you’d like to reschedule your flight to new dates and your original flight date is between Dec. 20, 2022 and Dec. 25, 2022 HST, we’ll waive any applicable fare difference on the same city pair for travel and same cabin of service. Tickets must be rebooked by Dec. 25, 2022 HST and travel must recommence by Jan. 3, 2023 HST.

  • Cancel your flight and use the value as credit towards a new ticket:
Cancel your flight now and you’ll keep the unused value of the ticket to use towards future travel until the ticket expires.* Upon rebooking a new flight, no change fees will be charged, but a fare difference may apply.

*Tickets expire 1 year from the original date of purchase.
