Indianapolis April 15th Survivors Fund

On April 15, 2021, the Indianapolis community and the FedEx family experienced an act of senseless violence that resulted in a devastating tragedy.
We are mourning the deaths of these eight community members and FedEx employees:
Matthew R. Alexander, 32 years old
Samaria Blackwell, 19 years old
Amarjeet Johal, 66 years old
Jasvinder Kaur, 50 years old
Amarjit Sekhon, 48 years old
Jaswinder Singh, 68 years old
Karli Smith, 19 years old
John Weisert, 74 years old
In addition, four individuals remain in the hospital with injuries sustained during the attack.
Many have asked how to help. We have established the Indianapolis 4/15 Survivors Fund through the National Compassion Fund for donations to provide direct financial assistance to the survivors of the deceased and those affected by this tragedy. The priority is to give the victims’ families the long-term help and support they’ll need in the years ahead.
FedEx does not own or control the fund or its distributions. It is managed by the National Compassion Fund, a program of the National Center for Victims of Crime. Click here for more information about the National Compassion Fund. One hundred percent (100%) of the funds raised will go to the families and those affected by the tragedy. Donations made to this fund are tax deductible.
