Honoring Heather Glasgow After Skydiving Tragedy

My name is Kat Glasgow, my husband is Norman Shiver (it’s his GoFundme account). I am one of Heather Glasgow’s 3 sisters. By now the news of my sister’s tragic death as made it’s way around the U.S. and beyond. My sisters and I are ready to talk and share with the rest of the world, a little bit about Heather, and who she was as a person and why we’ve set up this GoFundme.

Heather's story is one of perseverance, resilience, and kindness. Despite facing many challenges throughout her life, she never let them defeat her. Instead, she worked hard to achieve her goals and to provide for her children. Her dedication to education and her career as a DHS caseworker was a testament to her passion for helping others. Heather believed in making a positive difference in the world, and she did so every day.

Music was also a significant part of Heather's life. It was a way for her to express herself and connect with others. Whether it was playing her guitar or singing with her friends, Heather found joy in sharing her musical talents. Her generosity and kindness extended beyond her family and friends, as she was always willing to help anyone who needed it.

As a single mother, Heather's children were her top priority. She worked tirelessly to provide for them and to ensure that they had everything they needed. Her love and devotion to them was evident in everything she did. Even in pursuing her dream of skydiving, Heather wanted to show her children that it's never too late to chase your dreams and to do something to love and honor yourself.
