Help Wilson Robotics Attend World Championship

I'm part of Team AlphaGenesis 6436, a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team from Glen A. Wilson in Hacienda Heights, California.
Glen A. Wilson High School is a public high school that is home to a diverse student population with a wide range of socioeconomic statuses. In the ten years our team has existed, our fundamental principle has been to allow any member to compete regardless of their socioeconomic status, with as little financial stress as possible. Our team believes the only determining factor of who should be able to participate on the team is a person’s passion for learning and spreading STEM.
As competitors in an amazing program, we recognize how fortunate we are to be immersed in STEM at a young age, and we strive to spread STEM to our local community by providing opportunities and resources for underrepresented children in STEM. Along with engaging in our local community, we compete with many other amazing robotics teams in a scored robot competition. At the Southern California Regional Championship, we won the Winning Alliance Captain award and had the highest scoring robot, qualifying us for the World Championship in Houston, Texas from April 20 to April 24.
We are so grateful to have this opportunity, and I am so proud of my fellow team members for their dedication and perseverance throughout the season.
We are working hard to fundraise for registration fees, airfare, hotel expenses, transportation, and food for our team members and coaches so we can attend the competition. Our goal is to alleviate the stress of these costs on participating students and their families.
We will not be able to achieve this without your help. We are looking to our community to support our team so we can proudly represent Glen A. Wilson High School and the Hacienda Heights community.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could support our team. Any donation helps, and if you would like, we would be more than happy to bring any of your branding to our world competition and advertise it at an international level.
