Help Those Who Lost Their Homes with GIFT CARDS

As many of you know, the town of Louisville and Superior where ravished by fire on Thursday, December 30th. Over 1000 homes were burned to the ground. Many more have serious damage. Thousands of our residents have lost everything. Most left with the clothes they were wearing and NOTHING else. Thousands of our residents are now homeless and left with the very daunting task of starting over.

Many people who have lost their homes to fires across the United States, have written articles on what they needed the most when they were in the process of starting over. The NUMBER 1 request is GIFT CARDS. Most want new items, especially clothes and household necessities. No one knows exactly what these victims need better than they do.

As a result of learning this, I have started this GoFundMe page to buy as many gift cards as possible. I have a very hefty goal of raising $100,000. Gift cards will be purchased in increments of $500 and will be for Target, Amazon or Nordstrom Rack department store (if someone wants a different retailer... they can let me know and I will do my best). These 3 retailers will provide a LOT of the items that these struggling residents need to make it through their days right now (Our original choices - Macy's & Walmart made it too difficult to get eGift cards). Any amount of money that you can afford is appreciated. It all helps.

The funds raised are being used to buy gift cards in $500 increments online from Target, Amazon or Nordstrom's Rack department store.
