CT Students for a Dream 10 Year Anniversary!

Celebrate & Fund 10 Years of UndocuYouth Leadership in CT

Connecticut Students for a Dream (C4D) is the first and only youth-led, statewide organization in Connecticut that fights for the rights of undocumented youth and their families. And this year C4D is celebrating our 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY -  that’s a whole DECADE of immigrant youth leadership in Connecticut!

CELEBRATE with us! Our power, our impact, our resilience.

The past 10 years have seen some of the biggest wins and some of toughest moments for immigrant youth. But through high and lows, CT Students for a Dream has been steadfast in serving as a home for immigrant youth and families looking for a community, for support, for resources, and for the space to make their voice heard.

We want and need C4D to be a sustainable organization. Our goal is to raise $30,000 during our 10 Year Celebration through various activities - in order to power us through our next decade of organizing and growth. The past 10 years has taken us through growth, victories, and challenges - some of which we planned for and some of which were unexpected. We know the next 10 years will be no different. We hope YOU join us and contribute - together, we can build the next 10 years of immigrant youth leadership in Connecticut, and with YOUR  help, achieve new heights!

What does C4D do?

UndocuPower High School Program: Our comprehensive program for immigrant youth and youth of color in high school to support them in the college pathway and beyond, build their skills as organizers and leaders, and engage youth in creating change in their communities. We provide educational programming for undocumented youth during the academic year, after school and during the summer at 4 high schools in Connecticut.

Campaigns & Advocacy: We engage in youth-led campaigns at the local, state, and federal level, to uplift the voices, power, and demands of youth to fight for what we need to live lives free of fear and fight for our liberation. Our policy victories include passing laws opening access to undocumented students to in state tuition and institutional financial aid at public colleges and universities.

UndocuPeer Educator Program: A youth-led program that trains educators through workshops and conferences that give them resources to support undocumented students and advance broader change efforts in their schools and districts.

Civic Engagement: We engage youth in civic education work to mobilize their communities to improve access to civic knowledge and increase voter turnout in disenfranchised populations.

With your help, we will be able to fund another decade of immigrant organizing and victories.
