Excel Scholarship Program

Excel Federal Credit Union is continually committed to enhancing the financial future of the youth of our community. Each year we proudly award three $1000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate strong academic, extracurricular, philanthropic, community dedicated and creative excellence and will be attending an accredited college in the Fall of 2024.

All applications must be fully completed to be accepted.

Applicants must complete all elements of the application inclusive of the applicant’s Excel account membership number, and include a YouTube link that can be accessed for the submitted video answering the proposed application question. Videos must not exceed two minutes in length and should answer the question: If you receive the Excel scholarship how can you see it helping you be an ambassador for giving back to others in the future? Excel prides itself on community involvement and we would like to see your vision of doing the same as your future progresses.

An independent panel of judges outside of Excel Federal Credit Union will objectively review and submit the list of recipients to the credit union after judging. The recipients will be announced and contacted the first week of June 2024 via the email address provided in the application.

Awards will be sent to the colleges of the named recipients after recipients have provided complete college contact and student identification information. Scholarship awards will then be promptly mailed to the recipients’ respective colleges.

As a member you can help brighten the pathway for students in our community and high school seniors you might know. Whether it is your child. Your grandchild. A neighbor. A friend. Someone you mentor. Or a friend of a friend. We ask that you spread the word and mentor future leaders to succeed. Help us brighten the futures of our youth.
