Kent School is Celebrating Social Work Month!

In honor of Social Work Month, The Kent School has planned a week of activities in order to showcase and highlight the importance of the Social Work Profession to the Campus Community! We invite all Kent Students to attend.

Each day we will highlight a Kent School Core Value. We will have special giveaways.

Let's discuss how we can hold Kent to be accountable to help dismantle white fragility in our classrooms and beyond.

The overall learning objectives are to :

• understand white fragility,

• understand how white fragility/white supremacy shows up in social work

• develop a call to action to dismantle white fragility within Kent School, at practicum locations, and within ourselves and our personal and professional identity.
