Kent School is Celebrating Social Work Month!
In honor of Social Work Month, The Kent School has planned a week of activities in order to showcase and highlight the importance of the Social Work Profession to the Campus Community! We invite all Kent Students to attend.
Each day we will highlight a Kent School Core Value. We will have special giveaways. The more events you attend throughout the week, the more chances you have to win!

The Importance of Self- Care/ Burnout prevention
Self-care enhances well-being and involves purposeful and continuous efforts that are undertaken to ensure that all dimensions of the self receive the attention that is needed to make the person fit to assist others. Moore, S.E., Bledsoe, L., Perry, A.R., & Robinson, M.A. (2010)

*Mindful 20*: Join us for a 20 Minute OMM session as Health Promotion Guides you in a 20 minute stress relieving meditation.

*Mindful Movement*: Join us for a 15 Minute session as Health Promotion Guides you in a 15 minute guided chair yoga session.

*Koru Basics*:Learn mindfulness & meditation techniques in this class to decrease stress and improve resilience.
