He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Jackson and Donna Jackson (Hayes). He is survived by : his wife Kathy Downing of Mt. Zion; his daughters, Kristin Chambers (John) of Mt. Zion, IL, Julie Anderson (Oliver) of Charlotte and Jennifer Hoaglun (Tyler) of Meridian; his grandchildren, Isabelle, Adalyn Elliana Patterson, Henley, Kinsley, Nolan Hoaglun, Isaac, Meredith and Kara Chambers; his siblings, Steve Jackson (Lisa) and Cindy Salmons (Roger); and his siblings-in-law, Betsey Downing, Nancy Stockwell (Bob), Martha Downing and Jim Downing (Robin). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Tabernacle Baptist Church.
