Drake CEPD Online Graduate Courses

Drake University Continuing Education and Professional Development offers online courses for PreK-12 classroom teachers, athletic coaches, and administrators seeking graduate credit for license renewal, salary advancement, or elective credit. We develop our own online courses and work with two content developers to offer a wide range of content. Please click on the text links below to view our courses.

Drake University Designed Courses
Drake University Continuing Education and Professional Development designs and offers online courses for PreK-12 classroom teachers and athletic coaches seeking graduate credit for license renewal, salary advancement, or elective credit. Video Courses for Athletic Coaches and Physical Educators-Championship Productions
Nationally renowned coaches, top physical educators, and professional athletes lend their expertise to bring real-world perspectives to each course. These unique video courses are self-paced and you have one year to complete the coursework. The coursework is emailed to you and the DVD's and the book (if applicable) are sent to you in the mail.

PLS Classes
PLS Classes participants engage in interactive instruction and discussion with personal assistance from experienced master facilitators. Learn researched-based strategies to immediately apply to your classroom. Discover how to motivate and engage learners to improve student achievement. Elevate your professional expertise and become a master instructor by enrolling in online classes offered through Drake University.

Educational Technology Specialists Courses
Courses developed by ED Technology Specialists prepare students for the future. Students need to be able to thrive, advance, and contribute in an interconnected and constantly changing society.  Educators need to possess digital age skills and pedagogical strategies in order to be successful in the many roles they play as teachers and learners.  In addition, educators need to be prepared to leverage the technologies available to them in order to succeed in the rapidly changing 21st Century classroom. These unique courses are self-paced and you have up to six months to complete.

Drake University Transcripts

Drake University and Continuing Education and Professional Development (CEPD) students will no longer receive complimentary transcripts starting with the courses associated with the fall of 2023 semester. We will continue to send complimentary transcripts for courses associated with the summer 2023 semester and semesters prior until all grades have been entered. You will find information about ordering official transcripts, including the cost and how to access your unofficial transcript, using the link below.

Important Online Course Information

Students seeking to use these courses for recertification or salary advancement should seek prior approval from their school district or appropriate licensing agency.
