Phillip WARD, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was arrested on February 8, 2022, by the Fort Worth Police Department and members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force.In 1992, WARD was convicted of two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child following incidents involving an 8-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy. He received two 75-year sentences to be served concurrently. He was released on parole in February 2017.WARD had been wanted since March 1, 2021, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a Parole Violation warrant for his arrest. Additionally, the Fort Worth Police Department issued a warrant for his arrest on March 4, 2021, for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.The arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
